2019 Formal Recruitment
January 28, 2019 - February 9, 2019
REMINDER: In order to participate in 2019 Formal Recruitment, your Fall cumulative GPA must meet or exceed a 2.5. Additionally, you must register and attend a New Member Days session. 

The IFC Executive Council will notify all registered men in Jan. 2019 of their elgibility status.



Please read ALL instructions before registering for Formal Recruitment. 


- Use your @gwu.edu email address.
- You will need access to your GWid number (Uppercase letter 'G' followed by an 8-digit number), a digital photo of yourself, and your most updated résumé.
- Please be prepared to fill out your registration all in one sitting. You will not be able to go back and edit certain portions of your application. Please take your time to accurately fill out the respective fields.
- Students must have earned at least 12 credit hours and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher from an accredited college or university. AP and Dual-Enrollment courses are not accepted. Transfer students with at least 12 credit hours from another college or university are eligible. If you do not meet these two requirements, you will not be elgible to go through the Formal Recruitment process.
- Pay your non-refundable $10 Formal Recruitment registration fee. Deadline for registration is Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, at 11:59 PM EST.
- You must attend a New Member Days session to be eligible to go through Formal Recruitment in January. See New Member Days session schedule above.
- You are required to list your cumulative Undergraduate GPA as calculated by GW.
- Freshman/Fall Transfer students without a GW GPA at time or registration will be required to update their profile prior to the start of the spring semester once grades have been shared.
- Please note that all grades will be checked for accuracy in and will be viewable to the chapters upon verification.
- You will be asked to create a username & log-in that you will use during the Formal Recruitment process. Don't forget this log-in information! Campus Director will be used for the duration of the Formal Recruitment process.
- Your preferred name is the name that you would like to be called. It will be the dominant name on your nametag.
- You are highly encouraged to upload a résumé. The chapters will have access to the document that you upload.
- Leadership, Involvement, Interest & Hobbies: These fields are not required, however, serve to replace having to provide a resume. If using these fields, please be as thorough as possible. Include as much information as possible about your campus involvements/leadership. Uploading a résumé is preferred. 
- You are required to upload a picture of yourself. Any clear picture/headshot is allowed. The chapters will have access to the photo that you upload. (File may be no larger than 1MB)
- Read the Disclosure Agreement carefully, click “yes" to accept and proceed.
